THE 21st MAŁOPOLSKA DAYS OF CULTURAL HERITAGE. WITH A THRILL

Zamek w Niedzicy
The motto of this year's edition of the event is “With a Thrill” – thus, the list of available venues and monuments will include some of the darkest and most mysterious places – narrow nooks and crannies of basements, townhouses with labyrinths of chambers, mysterious ruins of castles and fortresses, as well as vaults of old churches covered with paintings depicting incredible scenes.

18–19th of May and 25–26th of May 2019

For the 21st time, the Małopolska Institute of Culture in Krakow will invite everybody to visit selected monuments in Krakow and the Małopolska region free of charge. This year, the organisers will invite you to Krakow, Niedzica, Rożnowo, Iwkowa, Czchów, Kacwin and the Snozka Pass. In each of the places presented during the Days of Cultural Heritage, visitors will be awaited by hosts and guides – both experts and enthusiasts, who will reveal the secrets of these surprising places and encourage them to look for the traces of the past and solve mysteries.
The 21st edition of the Małopolska Days of Cultural Heritage will take place on the last two weekends of May of 2019. Like in previous years, the event will once again be accompanied by a unique book, written by the famous author of detective stories from Krakow – Gaja Grzegorzewska.
The visits and guided tours will be accompanied by a specially prepared program, featuring numerous lectures, exhibitions, games, workshops for children, shows and concerts. Admission to all historic monuments and all activities during the Heritage Days is free.
