The main building of the Tatra Museum is a valuable monument of Zakopane-style architecture, built in 1913–1922 and designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz (facade) and Franciszek Mączyński (technical design). The main building of the Tatra Museum houses the permanent exhibitions: historical, ethnographic and natural environment exhibitions, showing the history of the region and the wealth of the culture and nature in the Tatras and Podhale.
