The object is dedicated to the memory of Brig. Gen. Leopold Okulicki, member of the Polish Legions and participant of the Polish war with Ukraine (1918–1919), Bolshevik Russia (1920) and the World War II (1939).
The Memorial Chamber was opened on 4 May 2008, and its exhibits include memorabilia donated by members of the General's family: Ms. Irena Kaczmarczyk, Helena Okulicka-Jarosz and Mr Władysław Okulicki. The family offered priceless photos, documents, newspaper clippings and particularly valuable souvenirs: wedding rings, the Order of the White Eagle – posthumously awarded to the general in 1995 by the President of the Republic of Poland.
